Rajgir, also known as Vasumatipur, Vrihadrathapur, Giribraj, and Kushagrapur, was the ancient capital of the Magadha Empire. Nalanda, founded in the 5th century, was once one of the world’s largest and most prestigious universities.

Nalanda
