ToggleMuktinath Temple:
The famous Muktinath Temple, located at 3710 meters, is devoted to Lord Vishnu, who is considered the lord of redemption here. The temple, religiously significant to Buddhists and Hindus, is located in Nepal’s Mustang District at the Thorong La Mountain Pass base.
The Pagoda-style temple is a sight to behold, nestled between the snow-covered Annapurna Range and the Tibetan plains on the other. For Hindus, the temple is one of 108 Vaishnava Shrines, and thousands of people visit the place every year to obtain ‘Mukti,’ ‘Nirvana,’ or ‘Salvation.’
